Amplifying Voices. Strengthening Accountability. Building Partnerships for Change.
At Langa Women Development Initiative (LWDI), we believe that sustainable development requires more than delivering programmes at community level. It also requires citizens and communities to have a voice, institutions to be responsive and accountable, and organisations to work together towards shared goals.
Our Advocacy, Governance & Partnerships programme seeks to strengthen the ability of communities, civil society actors and institutions to contribute to inclusive development and positive social change.
We use evidence, community experiences, stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships to promote policies and practices that improve opportunities and outcomes for women, girls, young people and vulnerable communities.
